Embrace Skin and Wellness was founded with our clients in mind. We provide our clients with the most up-to-date solutions for permanent hair removal and skin rejuvenation. We combine multiple strategies and modalities to optimize our clients’ results offering laser, electrolysis, and thermolysis treatments to ensure the best hair removal protocol for each individual client. Our founders, Karen Cooksey are passionate professionals offering advanced services and products to help our clients look and feel their very best.
At Embrace Skin and Wellness, we use the latest equipment, with microchip technology and increased megahertz for faster, more comfortable delivery. Our state-of-the-art epilators give us a choice of multiple modalities (Thermolysis, Galvanic, and Blend) for even greater efficiency. We have partnered with Aesthetic Management Partners (AMP) and provide a host of services (including hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and acne treatments) using AMP’s complement of lasers and Radio frequency devices including the: Agnes, Scarlet, Alpha, and Magma.
Karen Cooksey, Licensed Electrologist & Laser Technician
As a board-certified electrologist and laser technician, Karen is committed to providing her clients with the highest quality service in a professional and comfortable environment. After decades of holding Senior Executive positions with large corporations across the country, she made the decision to follow her passion to partner with a veteran Electrologist, and open Embrace Skin and Wellness, to help others have a happier, healthier, and hair-free life. She previously obtained both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Memphis and attended Indiana University for her Doctoral studies. Karen is a member of the Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal (SCMHR).
Karen is passionate about serving others. Her customer’s comfort, safety, confidentiality, and successful treatments are her top priorities. Her customers can be assured that when they come in for their treatments, they are getting their permanent hair removal and skin rejuvenation services from experienced and qualified professionals.
